However initially MP3 player was not working. I love this product. So I ha to return it in exchange of another unit.
I wanted something to play my mp3s. I purchased this for the patio, so I could take it out and bring it in the house. So far so good.
It is just what I expected to receive for the price. If you want an inexpensive radio/cd player with average sound quality, this is your machine. Delivery was very prompt.
Junk.Jwin Jxcd472 Portable Cd/Mp3 Player/recorder With Am/Fm Radio And watch out for the tape eating monster. This JWIN portable player has enough functions to appease the average user but sound quality is very poor. It has a base boost switch but this accomplishes virtually nothing - changing the sound from totally tinny to less tinny. Four weeks into it, and it chewed up a couple of my cassette tapes, and is skipping and jumping on the CD's.
This isn't an issue for use with audio books, OTR, or for most classical music, but forget about loud dance music.Overall, I strongly recommend this as a great value in a MP3 CD capable boombox. The CD player is excellent and the MP3 player also excellent- it's played everything I tried; it would be nice to have a better display, however. The radio is OK, but a digital tuner would have been nice; I didn't have any problems tuning in various stations. Be aware that you have to disconnect the power cord if you want to use it on batteries- otherwise it doesn't start. The only negative I've found is that the bass output is pretty weak. I bought this boombox a few weeks ago, after reading the reviews on Amazon, and I expected it to be a decent, basic boombox that could play MP3 CD's; well, it has exceeded all my expectations. I mostly use this to listen to audio books, and old time radio shows, and also to listen to classical music. It works very well on batteries, so far I have used it for about 6 hours without need to change batteries.
